The wine

Tasting note

Nose: toasted brioche and blanched almond, lifted by lemon zest and white blossom — seven years on the lees folding into candied citrus and a trace of honey. Palate: taut and chalk-driven, the Grand Cru spine of pure Chardonnay carried on a fine, relentless bead. Finish: saline, mineral, seemingly endless.
